About us

This home away from home is situated in the leafy and picturesque suburb of Clydesdale. 12 on Brecher, has the perfect address for getting around in Pretoria. Lying midway between Brooklyn, Sunnyside and Arcadia and only a stone’s throw away from the mecca of Blue Bulls Rugby - Loftus Versfeld Sports Stadium. The Blue Bulls are a great force in the rugby world and have a fanatic fan base locally and globally.

Clydesdale and surrounding areas such as Arcadia and Brooklyn are the chosen residences of a number of foreign embassies, artists and academics. The neighborhood is quiet and secure and many of the large properties still carrying that old world appeal. 12 on Brecher is walking distance from popular sites such as: Groenkloof Nature Reserve (a wonderful green expanse set right in the heart of Pretoria), the University of Pretoria and the spectacular Union Buildings designed by renowned architect Sir Herbert Baker.

12 On Brecher was originally a charming old house that we have renovated into a family home. The house, now having a modern look and feel has managed to preserve the ambience of warm charismatic flair from the original building. We have decorated it in true sportsman character, filling it with memorabilia from my own and my father’s sports careers. Come and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area for a unique staying experience!
